Added on: 27 March 2022. Ghost is building an attention-free self driving platform for a new generation of consumer cars. We currently have ~140 people across the Sydney, Mountain View and Dallas offices, with 20 in Sydney in an office in Surry Hills.
We are looking to hire people to help with the Ghost Train project here in Sydney, where we are building our own internal training and deployment system for deep neural network models. We would like to talk to people with backgrounds in any of: machine learning; functional programming; programming language theory; compiler engineering; computer graphics; GPGPU programming, or related mathematical and engineering disciplines. Our focus is on training system implementation techniques such as automatic differentiation, gradient computation, array fusion and memory management, rather than using existing high level Python libraries. Our main implementation languages are Scala and OpenCL.
We are hiring people based in Sydney or willing to move here. The working hours themselves are flexible and everyone works from home a few days per week.
